Acceptance

Using TokenPad means accepting these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the site.

What the service is

A set of free, browser-based calculation tools and reference tables relating to large language model tokens and pricing. No account is required, no payment is taken, and no feature is withheld behind registration.

Accuracy, and its limits

Considerable care goes into these figures. Token counts for models with a published browser tokenizer are exact; every other count is labelled an estimate, with its derivation set out on the methodology page. Prices are read from each provider’s own documentation and published with the date they were read.

Even so: providers change prices, specifications and tokenizers without notice, and a figure correct when recorded can be wrong by the time you read it. Verify against the provider’s own documentation before committing spend or making a contractual commitment. The output of these tools is an estimate for planning, not a quotation, an invoice or professional advice.

Warranty and liability

The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profit, revenue, data or business, arising from use of or reliance on the site.

Nothing here excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site or its host.
• Scrape the site at a rate or volume that degrades it for others. The underlying model data is a small JSON file; if you need it programmatically, ask rather than hammering the pages.
• Represent the site, or output derived from it, as your own official pricing.

Intellectual property

The site’s design, written guidance and code are ours. Model names, trade marks and pricing information belong to their respective providers and are referenced here for identification and comparison; no affiliation with or endorsement by any provider is claimed or implied. Text you enter into a tool remains entirely yours — we never receive it.

Third-party links

Links to provider documentation are offered so you can verify our figures. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

Availability and changes

The service may be modified, suspended or discontinued at any time without notice. These terms may be updated; the version published here governs use from the date it appears.
